Allu Arvind Visits KIMS Hospital to Meet Stampede Victim’s Family; Shares Update on Recovery
Allu Arvind, the father of renowned actor Allu Arjun, visited KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad to meet the family of the stampede victim, Mr. Sriteja, who has been hospitalized in the ICU for the past 14 days. During his visit, Allu Arvind met with the doctors treating Sriteja and shared an update on the young man’s condition with the media. He stated that Sriteja is slowly recovering and assured that the family is willing to extend all possible help to ensure his full recovery. He emphasized, “We are ready to support Sriteja’s recovery at any cost and will continue to take care of him.”
Allu Arvind also acknowledged the support extended by the government, mentioning that they too have expressed their wishes for Sriteja’s speedy recovery.
Why Allu Arjun Did Not Visit the Hospital
Addressing concerns about why Allu Arjun himself had not visited the hospital, Allu Arvind explained the situation. He revealed that Allu Arjun was initially eager to visit the hospital and personally meet the victim’s family. However, given the stampede incident that occurred at Sandhya Theater during a promotional event for “Pushpa-2” films, his management advised against it. They felt that the actor’s presence at the hospital, a sensitive location, could potentially lead to another chaotic situation.
Allu Arjun agreed with his team’s recommendations and decided to cancel his visit out of concern for the safety and well-being of hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
Allu Arvind Steps In to Represent His Son
Understanding the delicacy of the situation, Allu Arjun requested his father, Allu Arvind, to visit the hospital on his behalf. According to Allu Arvind, his son expressed regret over not being able to personally meet Sriteja and his family, saying, “At least you should go and empathize with the victim’s family on my behalf.”
In response, Allu Arvind sought and obtained the necessary permissions from the government, police authorities, hospital management, and medical directors to visit the hospital. During his visit, he personally conveyed Allu Arjun’s heartfelt concerns to Sriteja’s family and assured them of their continued support.
At the end of his visit, Allu Arvind expressed his gratitude to everyone who facilitated the meeting. He concluded by saying, “I sincerely thank all those who gave me permission to see the victim and his family. We are committed to supporting his recovery and wish him the best.”
